British Airways 747 First Class Review I One Mile At A Time

The first-class cabin on a British Airways 747 isn't the best the airline flies — the 787-9 has a better seat and the A380 has much more space. But, the position of the cabin in the nose makes it special and my favorite nonetheless. When sitting in seats 1A and 1K, one can almost look forward due to the curvature of the cabin.

British Airways' first class seat on the 747 is perfectly suitable for this sort of flight. It pales in comparison to some of the products currently offered today, of course, but there is still something special about it, especially on the 747. Since the cabin itself is located in the nose, there's an unmatched level of privacy.

What are the best First Class seats on the British Airways Boeing 747? Best seats - 1A or 1K, because you can see forward through the windows, or 2A/K or 3A/K for a solo window seat in the middle of the cabin. The First Class cabin features a slightly older version of the seat than you will find on the new Boeing 787-9 and 787-10 fleet.
