As usual Tamiya only refer to various paint mixes achieved by using their own brand of paints, without telling which RLM colours they're supposed to represent. :-P

The camouflage was a RLM 76/75/83 painting in a very clean way. It was replaced with RLM 76/82/83 after WNR 210274.. Fw 190 D-9, Wnr. 600175, yellow 8 + l, 11./JG 26,. This colourful aircrafts was one of three D9 that were surrendered intact at the airfield of Schleswig-Land (Jagel) on 5 May 1945.

The NASM Fw 190 D-9, factory number (Werksnummer) 601088, was probably built at Focke Wulf's Bernburg plant. According to its markings, it was flown by a staff officer of the 4th Squadron of Fighter Group 3 (IV (Sturm)/JG-3 "Udet"), flying bomber intercepts from late 1944 through 1945. This Fw 190 D-9 was among a group of 21 various German.

Here is another image, from Jerry Crandall's outstanding "Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Dora," vol. 1. Although a little faded, the painting actually looks quite similar to the F-8 image in some ways. Note especially how the inner rear section of the wing looks to be a darker color than the (obviously bare metal) outer section.
